AL Jazeera and JSC (Jazeera Satellite Channel) is a Doha based broadcaster owned by the AL Jazeera Media Network. It was launched as an Arabic news and current affairs and it is owned by the government of Qatar but the channel stated that they are editorial independent from government of Qatar.
