One of the most popular actresses from America, Alison was born to a Jewish mother Joanne Brenner, who worked at a non-profit child care agency and a Scottish father Charles Terry Schermerhorn, a musician and entertainment reporter on December 29, 1982, in Los Angeles County, California. Today, she is an actress turned model & producer.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre from the California Institute of the Arts in 2005 & started performing in theatres in California. She started her professional acting career with the role of Nina, a trainee hairdresser on the famous television series Hannah Montana.
