Kate Beckinsale is a Hollywood actress born on July 26, 1973, mainly known for her role in Pearl Harbor and Underworld. She got admission in Oxford University but for the love of acting she chose acting over Oxford and dropped out of University. She made her acting debut with film Much Ado about Nothing. Then she did various television roles in Cold Comfort Farm, Haunted and Emma, after which she made her way towards film industry.
She then appeared in The Last Days of Disco (1998) and in Brokedown Palace (1999). Her acting was appreciated by everyone and she won a London Critics Circle Film Award. At that time she was dating Michael Sheen and in the same year she gave birth to a baby girl and took a break from films.

In 2004 she married director Len Wiseman but separated in 2016.
