He was born on 13th April, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. He has a very unique style of singing and rapping. He sings and raps , combining different elements of hip hop and contemporary R&B.
Ty Dolla Sign shot to fame with his appearance on YG’s “Toot It and Boot It,” written and produced by Ty Dolla Sign himself for Def Jam Recordings. He signed a contract with Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Records. He later released a song, titled “Paranoid” which featured B.o.B. The song was a big hit ,and ranked at number 79 on the US Billboard Hot 100 . He later released his first extended play, Beach House EP, featuring Casey Veggies, Wiz Khalifa, Twista, Jay Rock, Trey Songz, French Montana, Travis Scott and Fredo Santana in guest appearances.
