Zoe Kazan is an American actress born on September 9, 1983, in Los Angeles. She is the elder daughter of screenwriters Nicholas Kazan and Robin Swicord & has a younger sister named Maya. She got her early education from Wildwood School, Windward School and Marlborough School. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Yale University.
Kazan began her career in 2003 with the film Swordswallowers and Thin Men. Few of her well-known movies are 2007 film The Savages, 2008 film Revolutionary Road and 2009 film It’s Complicated. She received praise for the 2010 films happythankyoumoreplease & Meek’s Cutoff. She acted & wrote the screenplay for the 2012 movie Ruby Sparks. In 2014, she worked in the film What If and starred in the TV series named Olive Kitteridge which earned her an Emmy nomination. Along with movies she also acted in many Broadway Productions. Her latest work was in the 2017 film The Big Sick.
